Beauty & The Bed

Girls guys and everyone in between! Welcome to the first real blog and of course as its Sunday what else would we do a beauty blog on?! That's right; The hangover!

So strap in and strap on...we are going to give you all the tips and tricks to make you fresh and ready for Monday! So curl up relax and if you have the energy try some of these!

1.) The Skin
 
Feel your skin for a second and ask yourself is it silky smooth? Is it glowing like you're 6 months pregnant? Does it say early 20's or late 90's? if you say no to any of these then listen up! Your skin is most damaged over the weekend. Why? because alcohol and regrets come calling. You apply the fake tan, extra make-up maybe some eyelashes, you drink some cosmos, neck some Prosecco and of course chase those bad boys with a couple of shots! (I am not talking right now to the sensible ones who chose not to go out) but you can enjoy the pamper too! 

Now this is a real opportunity to pamper yourselves!

If you haven't already...take a shower. Scrub off your mistakes and lets start fresh. Your skin needs a deep cleanse so please clean and scrub your whole body then we will pamper the face. 










This is our 10 step guide
  1. Steam or Hot Towel your face to open your pores. It's a glorious feeling to open those pores!
  2. An oil cleanser (if you have one to start if you don't just skip) gently apply all products before washing off with warm water.
  3. A foam cleanser is next to reach deep into those pores and remove all the dirt! as always gently apply and wash off with warm water.
  4. Lets now apply a gorgeous toner to tighten those pore a little but don't use too much not to dry out your skin prematurely. 
  5. Now if you feel wild and ready for some super hydration whip out that sheet face mask you know you got for Christmas and lay down for 15 minutes with that bad boy on your face and listen to some Enya (if you don't know Enya just go with it and google her).
  6. Now before applying any creams...let's ice wash that face. If you don't have ice dunk your face in a bowl of ice cold water. If you have ice go grab some from the fridge and gently slide it all over your face to tighten all of your pores. Wait a few minutes to apply anything else.
  7. Eye cream. You and i both know you have barely slept and those bags be bagging. so cream those bad boys.
  8. If you do have any blemishes you can deal with them at this point with whatever you choose that suits your skin.
  9. Either use now a moisturizer or a specific night cream. To hydrate as Lionel Richie would say...all night long.
  10. Number 10 isn't really a physical skin care tip but please for the love of your body...drink water!!

2.) The insides

Now no matter what you did this weekend it's always good to cleanse your insides so our advice is to make this super simple, super easy detox drink:











Ingredients:
  • 2 large oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 fresh ginger
  • Spring of fresh mint
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 Jug water
Recipe:

Slice the oranges and lemon however you choose and set to one side. Peel the ginger and slice thinly. Then with the lemons and oranges and ginger place them in a large jug or similar and fill with water. Add the honey and mint and stir. Refrigerate for minimum 30 mins to infuse the water and drink and enjoy!

Make your tummy feel as sexy as your face! Your body deserves it.

3.) The bed

That's right...you need your bed, so Netflix and chill in style. Get into your jammies and get into bed because girls guys and those in-between...its Monday tomorrow. Be ready!
